This year will be the 64th annual Meridian Grande Parade! Today I’m going to be talking about what to do at Niagara on the Lake if you’re trying to save money. Something extremely fun and popular to go to is Dufferin Islands. Dufferin Islands is a span of small islands across 10 acres of beautiful wildlife scenery. Here you will be able to catch and release fish, feed birds at their bird feeding stations, and bring a picnic for the whole family! Dufferin Island is also home to the Winter Festival Lights that debut November through January each year!

Theatrical Cemetery Tours!!
This month the Niagara Historical Society and Museum will be featuring a haunting, theatrical tour of St Marks Cemetery. The spooky tours will begin in front of Addison Hall, St Marks Anglican Church and are conducted on the following dates: September: 18, 19, 25, and 26 at 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm! The tickets are 10 dollars per person and must be purchased in advanced!
