The North Star Festival, Voices of Freedom, will be taking place October 2nd through October 4th in celebration of the freedom followers who were lead to Niagara by following the North Star (a subdivision of the Underground Railroad)! Happy Rolph’s Bird Sanctuary is fun and free for the whole family! This sanctuary is home to several different animal species that can be viewed and interacted with in a natural environment and habitat for them. Pigs, geese, ducks, donkeys, rabbits, sheep, and more, Rolph’s sanctuary has them all! Take the family and spend the whole day on the hiking trail and even picnic there afterwards (the trail is wheelchair and handicap accessible).
