Marineland

Marineland was opened over 50 years ago and takes great pride in educating the world on its unique aquatic life and attractions. Attractions at Marineland include: the Arctic Cover (where you can get up close and personal to touch and feed the white whales), friendship cove (which allows an uncles underwater view of the killer whale), the Beluga whales, and even traditional land animals (including bison, elk, and deer)! Marineland has something to offer everyone!

Icefields Parkway

Icefields Parkway is lined with more than 100 ancient glaciers, waterfalls, natural rock walls, lakes, and is about 232kms! Stretching from Jasper to Lake Louise, you will be able to hike for miles in this breathtaking parkway. Home to wildlife creatures such as, bears, bighorn sheep and more. You can hike on your own or you can take a guided tour of Lake Louise and Jasper in their “Roam the Rockies Tour.”

Royal Ontario Museum

The Royal Ontario Museum is one of the worlds leading natural history and world cultures, museums. They offer a wide variety of exhibitions that change frequently throughout the year in order to give you the best experience possible. Currently on display they have exhibitions including: Viva Mexico! (clothing and culture), New Dino Discovered (yes thats right, a new dinosaur has been discovered!!), Dawn of Life Preview, Toronto Underfoot, The Bat Cave, and more! They also feature a slew of exhibitions in their gallery, where you can find statues and sculptures from all around the world, and even paintings and artifacts from places including, Egypt, China, Greece, and Nubia!

Stanley Park!

Stanley Park is Vancouvers first and largest urban park! Home to an abundance of wildlife and greenery, you can explore 400-hectares of land, including hiking and biking trails, as well as trails by the lake. Stanley Park is also home to the famous Seawall which you can cycle alongside for 8.8km! As the snow falls this winter, bundle up, and hike on!

Distillery District

The historic distillery district, located in Toronto, is home to dozens of unique shops, bakeries, venues, and restaurants. Often celebrated here are multi-faceted cultural festivals, music festivals, and art displays. Coming up this week until the beginning of February, they will be having a baby ASL classes! As well as on January 25th, there will be the annual Robbie Burns Brewmasters Supper from 5:30pm-11pm!
