1812 Lectures Series – 3rd Thursday of each month from March-September 2012

June, July and August 2012 – Petticoats, Boots and Muskets – 1812 Walking tour ad theatrical performance from Thursday-Sunday.

MARIA REKRUT – PERSONAL INVITATION

I am personally inviting anyone who wants to get away from their hectic everyday life to come to and enjoy a relaxing time in  Niagara on the Lake.

It’s wonderful to walk through Niagara on the Lake and be enveloped and surrounded by our beautiful historic buildings.  You can enjoy Niagara while sitting in one of our charming outdoor cafes enjoying a cappuccino or a glass of Niagara wine watching the world go by.

For the cyclists and walkers,  you can cycle and walk safely throughout the town of Niagara,  there are delightful surprises awaiting you as you cycle on the Niagara Parkway.

You can stop and purchase fresh fruit on the bicycle route and then go for lunch at the wineries.  You can finish off your day by  taking an afternoon swim in Lake Ontario.  Niagara on the Lake is the “Prettiest Town in Canada” and was the First Capital of Canada. This year, in 2012, Niagara is celebrating 200 years of peace between Canada and the United States.  Every weekend there are many special events that you can participate in.

Come and stay in Niagara, enjoy the many activities being offered, de-stress, recharge and prepare to go back to your normal life.
