So Much History!!

Setting aside all the fun and games to be enjoyed, Niagara Falls is truly a place of history and has many historical sightings to be visited as well. At Niagara Falls you will find, Brocks monument, Fort George, the Niagara Falls History Museum, Old Fort Erie, the McFarland House, the Niagara Military Museum, Willowbank, the RiverBrink Art Museum, Chippawa Battlefield Park, and the Laura Secord Homestead. Literature buffs will love to visit the Mackenzie Printery and Newspaper Museum and is displays 500 years of printing technology. The museum displays rare pieces including the Louis Roy Press, one of the original wooden presses still remaining in the world! Niagara Nightlife!

Niagara Falls has a wonderful nightlife featuring several night clubs, bars, and karaoke! There are even several wineries and breweries to visit, including the Niagara Brewing Company which hosts several events throughout the year; Oktoberfest and Beer on Ice. Skylon Tower!

Niagara Falls is home to the Skylon Observation Tower, built in 1964, featuring 3 observation decks, 2 dining rooms, a revolving dining area, and a fun center at the base of the tower! The tower stands at 520 feet and on a clear day has the observation visibility of up to 80 miles! The revolving dining room seats 276 people and does 1 complete revolution per hour! Niagara Belle! (Outdoor Recreation)

Niagara Falls also features an abundance of outdoor recreation, including the botanical garden, the centennial lilac garden, Niagara Glen, the Niagara River Recreation Trail, and the Queen Victoria Park. The outdoor recreation doesn’t stop there! They feature horse and carriage rides, helicopter rides, the Niagara Falls incline railway, and the Niagara Belle! The Niagara Belle is a leisurely way to experience the Niagara River in a paddle wheeler boat.
