Theatrical Cemetery Tours!!

This month the Niagara Historical Society and Museum will be featuring a haunting, theatrical tour of St Marks Cemetery. The spooky tours will begin in front of Addison Hall, St Marks Anglican Church and are conducted on the following dates: September: 18, 19, 25, and 26 at 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm! The tickets are 10 dollars per person and must be purchased in advanced!

Niagara Historical Society and Museum: EXHIBITS!

The Niagara Historical Society and Museum presents, Our Story! Our Story is the chronological history of Niagara on the Lake, going all the way to the day it all began, leading back up into present day!
The Historical Society and Museum will also be featuring an exhibit that commemorates the World War II training grounds, here at Niagara on the Lake. It is called: Life Under Canvas: Niagara Camp 1915-1919.
Whether you are just visiting or a long time resident of Niagara on the Lake, you are sure to enjoy the history that comes with it! Enjoy!

Niagara Historical Society Museum

The Niagara Historical Society Museum was established in 1895 as a tribute to Niagara on the Lake. The society itself has published over 50 books while the museum houses one of Ontario’s most important local history collections! The museum was originally located in the Courthouse but moved to the Historical Society in 1907. History buffs will love the fascinating stories behind Niagara on the Lake! The museum also runs a variety of special events throughout the year, including: The Great War Lecture Series, The Past is Present: A Heritage Festival, and Pack up Your Troubles.
